Used Books and Uniforms

Want to save money? Come to BBS during the hours above to turn in used textbooks for tax credit, present used books you'd like to use next year, or purchase a limited number of used books from BBS. Please read the information below carefully so you are prepared to save the most money possible.
**Please note, used books can only be brought for credit during the times stated above.
No exceptions will be made.**
Used Uniforms
The uniform exchange will be open on the date above. You can exchange uniforms that don't fit anymore or simply buy used uniforms at a reduced rate.
To submit uniforms for exchange credit: wash them, fold them and place them in a bag with your family's name on it. Items must be gently used - free from holes and/or stains - and must be from approved uniform stores (A-1 and Patricks).
Volunteers who work the uniform exchange will determine if items that have been turned in will be given exchange credit.
Used Books
Return Books for Tax Credit
Bring your child's used books to the school office and receive a donation letter for tax purposes. Books must be in reasonably good condition. Final determination will be made by BBS office staff. See below for lists of books that can be returned for tax credit. Books must match title, publisher, and edition/year in order to receive credit.
Bring Used Books Already in Your Possession
Do you have children who can pass their books to a sibling? Or do you have a friend who will sell you their child's books? Bring those books to the BBS office to reduce the book fee you owe for 2012-2013. If you have already paid your book fee, money will be credited to your account. Only books listed on the attached pages will be accepted, and books must be in good condition. BBS staff will make the final determination regarding used books.

Purchase Used Books - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades only
BBS has a limited number of used books on hand. By purchasing used books, you can save on your book fee. For example, there is a package of used 2nd grade books available that will reduce a family's book fee by $50. Used book availability varies by grade, and books are offered on a first come, first served basis.
